Erik Ronning, Camp Director
Colgate University, Men’s Soccer Head Coach

Erik Ronning will be entering his 8th year as the John W. Beyer Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at Colgate University in 2012. He has taken the Raiders to the Patriot League Tournament in 6 of the 7 season he has been at the helm of the program. Colgate won back-to-back Patriot League Championships in 2007 and 2008, and again in 2011.This past year, the Raiders defeated Lehigh University and American University to capture the programs 3rd Patriot League Tournament Championship in 5 years, and 6th overall NCAA Tournament appearance. Ronning, the 2010 Patriot League Coach of the year, was a four-year starter and team captain in 1996. He was named first-team all-Patriot League and team MVP his senior year.

 

After graduation, Ronning worked as Colgate’s assistant coach from 1997-2001. Following his stint as an assistant at Colgate, Ronning spent four years at Northwestern University as both an assistant and associate coach of the men’s soccer program.

     
Bill Brady  

Bill Brady, Camp Director
Haverford School, Boy’s Varsity Soccer Head Coach

Prior to taking his newly appointed position as Leadership Coordinator and Head Coach of Boy's Varsity Soccer at the Haverford School, Bill Brady was the head men's soccer coach at Haverford College. Brady came to Haverford from Greensboro (N.C.) College where he won three conference championships and made three NCAA Tournament appearances in four years.

 

Hired as the head men's soccer coach at Greensboro in 2005, Brady's teams at the college won three USA South Atlantic Conference championships in his four years leading the Pride. Each of those championship squads went on to play in the NCAA Tournament where his 2005 and 2007 teams played their way into the Regional Final game.

 

Prior to his stay at Greensboro, Brady was the men's coach at D-I St. Bonaventure (N.Y.) University for six seasons.

 

At Wheaton (Mass.) College, Brady culminated his soccer playing career by being named First-Team All-New England and the college's Senior Athlete of the Year. Following his graduation in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, he stepped off the playing surface onto the coaching sideline for the first time joining the University of Cincinnati men's soccer staff as an assistant coach. Brady was on the Bearcats' staff when the team reached the D-I NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.

 

     
Shawn Griffin  

Shawn Griffin, Camp Director
Hobart College, Men’s Soccer Head Coach

Shawn Griffin recently completed his 10th season at the helm of the Hobart Statesmen. Last fall, Griffin led Hobart to its first Liberty League Championship and fourth straight NCAA Tournament berth. The Statesmen posted a 15-4-2 overall record after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

 

Prior to joining Hobart, Griffin served eight seasons at his alma mater Plymouth State University. As head coach, he led the Panthers to three NCAA Tournaments, coached six All Americans and seven Little East Conference Players of The Year.

A 1988 graduate of Plymouth State, Griffin played on three NCAA Tournament teams, helping the Panthers amass a 52-14-16 record. Overall, Griffin has compiled a career record of 198-113-30 (.625) in 18 years as a head coach. Griffin is a two time finalist for the NSCAA Division III National Coach of The Year. He has mentored 41 NSCAA All – Region and 93 All Conference selections.
