Northeast Elite ID Camp 1-Day College Prep Camp Information

1-DAY COLLEGE PREP CAMP PHILOSOPHY:

The objective of the camp is to provide prospective student-athletes with the opportunity to train, play, and be evaluated by the Colgate University men's soccer staff in a highly competitive training & playing environment, while being exposed to a Division I men’s soccer atmosphere.

The focus of the field sessions will be on technical and tactical aspects of the college game, competitive small-sided games, and larger-sided full field games. Further, a comprehensive campus tour and information session will be provided concerning the college recruiting process, player development, and the demands and expectations put on college student-athletes.

The Colgate men's soccer staff have identified and signed many student-athletes who are currently playing for the Raiders through the One-Day College Prep Camp, and could prove to be an extremely worthwhile event for players interested in competing at the collegiate level to attend.

Enrollment is open to players entering grades 9-12 in High School.

The Colgate men's soccer program will be hosting One-Day College Prep Camps on Sunday, March 3, 2013 and Sunday, April 28, 2013. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the campus of Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.

The campers at the Northeast Elite ID Camp will have access to some of the very best facilities in the country in which to train and play. Colgate University boasts 4 grass practice fields, one of which is lit, that line the back rim of the athletic grounds. Campers will also enjoy the use of Van Doren Field, game field for Colgate Men's Soccer, for All-Star games. Tyler's Field (lighted astro turf) and Andy Kerr Stadium (lighted field turf) can also be utilized during evening sessions. Sanford Field house (indoor turf) will be used during poor weather conditions.

Enrollment is open to boys players entering grades 9-12 and graduating seniors in High School.

The staff at the Northeast Elite ID Camp will consist of some of thetop collegiate coaches in the country, from Division I, II and III institutions. Collegiate coaches in the Northeast will be contacted prior to the start of camp and given the opportunity to evaluate you first hand at the Northeast Elite ID Camp.
